Your seller type affects legal obligations. Stripe verifies sellers and handles TEST payments on their connected accounts. Stripe processing fees are separate from HustleNest commission and normally borne by the seller. Practice orders for your own listings move no stock.

Refund rules & commission
- Buyers can request a refund from their order. The seller reviews it; requesting does not automatically return money.
- Sellers can issue full or partial item refunds and refund postage separately. Buyers receive the amount approved, subject to their legal rights.
- HustleNest returns the corresponding 5% commission on refunded item value. No commission is charged or refunded on postage.
- After Stripe confirms a successful buyer refund, a full refund returns the full commission. Partial item refunds return the matching commission, rounded consistently to pennies across the order. Postage-only refunds return no commission. Pending buyer refunds and pending commission refunds are shown separately.
- A refund does not automatically restock an item. The seller must confirm that returned goods have been received and are suitable to sell again. Stripe processing fees are separate from HustleNest commission and are not promised back. Returns, disputes and chargebacks remain subject to consumer law and Stripe rules; legal rights are not reduced.
